Fausto Giunchiglia is a Professor of Computer Science, University of Trento, EURAI fellow, member of the Academia Europaea.His current research interest: Computational models of the mind and implications on how the known is grounded in the unknown.
He studied or had positions at the Universities of Genoa, Stanford, Edinburgh, and at the research center IRST, now Foundation Bruno Kessler (FBK).Around ten Best Paper Awards; more than fifty invited talks; chair of more than ten events, among them: ICDCS 2020, KSEM 2018, ODBASE 2008, IJCAI 2005, Mobiquitous 2004, Context 2003, AOSE 2002, Coopis 2001, KR&R 2000, FLOC 1999.
He has covered all the spectrum from theory to technology transfer and innovation. Some relevant roles: Member of the Panel “Computer Science and Informatics” of the European Research Council (ERC), “ERC Advanced Grants”, Chair of the International Advisory board of the Scottish Informatics and Strategic Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA) of the 10 Scottish Universities; Coordinator of the task-force in charge of the definition of the Italian National Research Program in ICT; Scientific Coordinator of the Italian Platform for the Future Internet, sponsored by the Italian Industrial Association and the Ministry of Research; Co-founder and first president of GraphiTech, a member of the IniGraphicsNet foundation; Co-founder and first Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering of the University of Trento; Vice-rector of the University of Trento in charge of ICT and innovation.His current innovation interest: How to enable worldwide diversity- aware data-driven social innovation.
Asscociate Professor Adriano Tavares

Adriano Tavares is an Associate Professor at University of Minho, Portugal. He holds a PhD in Industrial Electronics from University of Minho, a Master of Science in Information Technology and an undergraduate degree in Informatics both from University of Coimbra. His main research interests are embedded systems modelling and design, system software design, system-on-chip design and engineering education. He is currently teaching embedded and real-time systems modelling and design, compiler design, system-on-chip design, real-time operating system design, and advanced computer architectures courses at University of Minho. He published more than 90 book chapters and papers on international conferences and journals related to embedded systems design and a book on microcontroller programming. For the last decade he has been visiting several Asian Universities (e.g., Jilin University-China, Amir Kabir University-Iran, AIT-Thailand, PSUT-Jordan and RUPP-Cambodia) under Erasmus Program

Brief introduction: Dr. Ren (Yanzhi Ren) is currently an Associate Professor in School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic and Science of Technology of China. Prior to join University of Electronic and Science of Technology of China, he was a Data Analytics/Machine Learning System Engineer in FutureWei Technologies (Huawei Research), NJ, USA. Dr. Ren received the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ in 2015. Dr. Ren has published more than 40 refereed papers in international leading journals and key conferences in the areas of wireless communications and networking, mobile computing, and security & privacy. He is the inventor of more than 10 granted and 10 pending patents. His current research interests include mobile computing and sensing, cyber security and privacy, internet of Things (IoT), smart healthcare.
